History

Charles Morgan started Metbin in 1988 with a small yard, a tiny office, and a passion for the business. Throughout the history of the company it has been a family business. All members of the Morgan family are key members of the company and contribute to the daily running of Metbin.

Since its beginnings the company has expanded. In 2001, Metbin was relocated to the current 8 000 m covered premises in Jeppestown. We opened our Midrand branch in 2002 and a steel processing plant in 2008.

We have also been expanding our fleet and staff. We remain competitive in an increasingly challenging industry because of our determination to offer the best service possible. Our professionalism and service has resulted in a network of loyal buyers and sellers.
