Our Story: A Legacy of Circularity
While Metbin began in a small yard in 1988, our mission was always larger than scrap. Founded by Charles Morgan, we have evolved from a local recycling passion project into a South African powerhouse of sustainable processing. Today, the Morgan family continues to lead daily operations with a simple philosophy: Professionalism at scale, fueled by family values. We don’t just move metal; we provide the transparency and reliability the modern circular economy demands.

A UCT Commerce alumnus with 22+ years in the sector, Dean oversees the technical heart of Metbin.
